S'mores, Sunsets & Slow Mornings at Chaminade Resort

S'mores, Sunsets & Slow Mornings at Chaminade Resort

Some places help you relax.

Others help you reconnect.

And every time I return to Chaminade Resort & Spa, I find myself doing a little of both.

This visit felt a little different. Instead of trying to fit everything into one trip, I slowed down and simply enjoyed the experience.

A Morning Worth Waking Up For

Breakfast has quickly become one of my favorite traditions here.

Leila welcomed us with such genuine kindness that it immediately felt like we were regulars instead of guests.

There is something special about starting the morning with great coffee, delicious food, and someone who truly enjoys making your day a little brighter.

It's those little moments that often become your favorite memories.

Back to the Pool

Another afternoon found me exactly where I wanted to be...

Relaxing beside the heated pool.

Families were laughing together in the kid's pool while other guests quietly soaked up the sunshine.

Everyone seemed to be enjoying the slower pace that Chaminade naturally creates.

It's amazing how quickly stress disappears when you're surrounded by towering trees, fresh mountain air, and peaceful conversations.

Evenings Made for S'mores

As the sun began to set, one of my favorite parts of Chaminade came alive.

The fire pits.

Guests gathered around as the evening cooled, roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, sharing stories, and simply enjoying being together.

The crackling fire, the beautiful sunset, and the peaceful atmosphere reminded me that sometimes the best moments don't require an itinerary.

Just good company.

A beautiful view.

And maybe an extra marshmallow or two.

Sunsets You Don't Want to Miss

Every evening seemed to paint the sky a little differently.

Watching the sunset from Chaminade has become one of those simple traditions I now look forward to every visit.

It's quiet.

It's beautiful.

And it's the perfect reminder to slow down for a few minutes before the day ends.

Why I Keep Coming Back

People often ask why I've returned to Chaminade so many times.

The answer isn't just the comfortable rooms or incredible food.

It's the feeling.

The welcoming staff.

The conversations with other guests.

The peaceful mornings.

The fire pits.

The sunsets.

It's a place where you can truly unwind while making memories you'll think about long after you've returned home.

Kathleen's Tip

If you're planning a stay at Chaminade, don't rush through your evenings. Grab a seat around the fire pits, make a few s'mores, watch the sunset, and simply enjoy being present. Sometimes those are the moments you'll remember the most.
